Classic Motown
United States
Приєднався 14 кві 2014
The Sound of Young America! The Motown Sound went worldwide in the 60s, and that sound still resonates today. With nearly 200 #1 songs worldwide, Motown remains an influence on today's biggest pop and R&B stars. But Motown stands for more than just the music: it is a reflection of the hard work of dedicated individuals overcoming incredible obstacles to achieve great success. Berry Gordy Jr., a young African American man, founded Motown Records with a loan of $800 from his family. Through determination and support of the Motown family of artists, Gordy forged new ground and made the "Motown Sound" a worldwide phenomenon adored by millions. It's an "only in America" story. And everyone can sing along.

I was in the car around Christmastime with a guy I’d just met and I put on this song, he said “Wow that kid sure can sing!” 🤦♀️
Rick had a helluva voice tho
Very strange, 20 minutes ago I played the dong????
So many people seem to love this one ,it really takes me back to youth ...such lovely innocent but effective lyrics...
I agree
😩AND if you should find someone newwww
I like it when he calls her sugar baby ❤❤❤
I just realized that I was watching your song when she was my girl. I love it it's a new on your story please show it again❤
Mrs Ross
Brilliant song, seems a bit plagiarized. The music sounds like 'Spooky'
How is it the sample ?
@@lexkanyima2195 it obviously steals the riff from Spooky. Both songs have identical riffs
sample is directly borrowing a clip from the actual song, Rick did his own production taking the riff from Spooky....pure plagiarism
@@CelebFactsQuotes in terms of what ?
@CelebFactsQuotes name the difference between those 2 song's
For the Archangel Michael. This song always reminds me I'm not alone and your watching over me. This is true SOUL music 🎶😇💓🙏🪬🪷
I like mimicking, the Mary Jane Girls!❤
❤
I like this better than beatles
Young Michael Jackson
H mr pisspot
😂❤❤❤❤so cute
Yep twincy pahaa
Pretty lady
It’s errape
Michael's talent was so beyond his age. His vocal inflections in "...let you go..." at the end of his bar at 2:28 are just insane. Not to mention his high notes on the following bar/outro. For only being 11, it just blows my mind. Dude was the king of pop before he even knew it.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊❤❤❤
I watch these girls in LA, in a Rick james concert, in the 80s. Time flies..
Freeway
Unless you lived the age before text and email you could never relate to this song.
Maxi B... so hot! Would have been great as a 5 piece with Cheri.
Legendary 😮💨🔥
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
He made the lust for money sound like a good thing

The Beatles brought me here

Skateland. Whittier CA. Thank you, Miss Thelma.
We love you Smokey!❤
Marvin's bite lio...He surely loves himself his Tammi Terrell
I seen David Ruffin sitting at mama Alice house waiting for Greg purfoy to come out David was sitting in a black corvette
That's my neighbor hood grew up on Pingree and Woodrow Wilson damn I miss those days Kelly lived next door and next to her Jay lived on the other side the Harrell lived David and Ricky then mama Alice lived next to Vernon presley we had fun in those days love 😍 it so
Motown or someone did these girls an injustice as in just two weeks of hearing this song and the girls for the first time I've bought a pre-owned copy of the Just Call Me LP and it's filled with bangers. This album could have easily have sold solid numbers given the right marketing and promotion.
Then And Now: Motown Museum! Now that's the great magic of music. 🎶🎵✨❤
My Man Smokey, doing his thing.
Legend status
Yes, thank you Smokey
Why would you ask a white boy about Juneteenth
